Our standout requirements from this breed are:
- Calving Ease
- Udder structure, attachment and teat size
- Fertility
- Temperament
- Moderate frame score and moderate bone
- Females must exhibit Femininity and Bulls must exhibit Masculinity
- Cows must calve annually, regardless of environmental conditions
- Cows must exhibit a ‘Fertile Shape’ and have a pleat of skin around the point of their brisket when lactating.

- Sleek coat.
- Black Pigment
Our Points of Difference are:
- Super fertility
- Market suitability
- Buffalo fly resistance
- No calf birth weights greater than 37kg. Calf will not be kept to reproduce
- Heifers are to be in calf by 20 months of age
- Maintaining maximum Heterosis
- British over Indicus as Professor Jan Bonsma suggested for maximum mothering ability and immunity to parasites, both internal and external
- Females exhibiting too much muscle expression are culled
- No eye problems
